Capt. Nico runs 4 and 6 hour trips daily from Cangrejos Yacht Club in Carolina. The marina is only a 5 to 10 minute cab ride from the San Juan/metro area hotels. Trips can be arranged in the mornings (6:00 - 10:00 am.) or in the afternoons (3:00 - 7:00 pm.). During the course of the season these hours may change slightly depending on sunrise and sunset times. Also, Capt. Nico is the only outfitter to run night fishing charters for tarpon and snook during the months of March to October. This is hard core angling for big silver kings (the average silver king at night is 70 pounds with larger ones reaching triple digits) and trips are scheduled depending on moon phase and tidal movements.
